The artist formally known as Dr.Gero of the Red Ribbon Army (Android #20) spent many years developing androids in an attemp to destroy Goku. Although this attemp failed in the regular timeline it succeded in Trunks's timeline. Dr. Gero was killed once Android #17 and Android #18 were activated but his brain was placed in an Android body and he was then turned into an android himself. Android #20 once outclassed by Vegeta fled to the forest. Once there he activated android #17 and #18. After activating them they killed him again by decapitating him.
