Cell was an android created from the strongest fighters in the universe. That included Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Frieza, and Tien. He was created in a water capsule in Dr. Gero's lab basement. Cell was supposed to be Dr. Gero's greatest android but Dr. Gero stopped working on him and took up other projects with androids #16, #17, #18, and #19. Although the computer kept working on Cell by itself. Cell finally became old enough to break out of the capsule in Trunks's future. Cell kills future Trunks and steals his Time Machine. Cell travels back in the past and hatches to the first form we get to see of him. He sets out to find androids #17 and #18 to absorb them. On the way killing and absorbing innocent people. He goes through several bouts with the dbz fighters but they are unable to stop Cell before he escaped each time. Cell senses Piccolo fighting android #17 and rushes over to absorb the android. Cell finds them easy enough and fights Piccolo along with android #17. Cell breaks Piccolo's neck effortlesly and abosrbs android #17. Goku telaports in and saves Piccolo and Tien. He telaports them back, and gives them two senzu. Cell then sets out for android #18, Cell tracks android #18 down to a few mountains, Cell yells so loud that all the islands below can hear him and android #18 still doesn't come out so Cell proceeds to blow up island after island untill he could find android #18. #18 and #16 hide out on a bigger island and Vegeta senses Cell and flys top speed after him. Krillen also senses Cell and fly's after to watch the fight. Krillen spots #18 but isn't able to shut her down and smashes the remote gave to him by Bulma. Vegeta fights Cell and Cell whines about not being complete so he convinces Vegeta that if he'd let him be complete he would be of much more match to Vegeta. Vegeta lets him absorb android #18 but not before trunks could intervene to stop Cell from succeding. Cell performs a Taiyoken (Solar Flare) and absorbs android #18 while she was defenseless. Cell transforms to his Perfect form and easily beats the snot out of the dbz fighters. Cell gets bored with leaving them with a strand of life left and proposses a tournament. The tournament is to be held nine day's later. Cell also annoucces this on T.V., After doing so he constructs the ring. Cell patiently waits the nine days while Goku, Gohan, Trunks, Vegeta, and Piccolo trained in the Room of Spirit and Time (a.k.a: Rosat). After nine days the tournament begins, Cell first fights Goku and wins easily. Cell then fights Gohan, by threatening to kill his friends Cell forces Gohan to transform again to supersaiyan lv.2. Gohan plays with Cell until he forces Cell to vomit out android #18. Cell angered starts to self destruct. Goku flies in and telaports him to Kaio's planet where he explodes. Cell though regenerates back on earth and starts to dismantle Gohan little by little. Gohan fires a Kamehameha as does Cell. A great power struggle ensues but ends when Vegeta interferes by knocking cell off balance. Cell falls and dies at the hands of the Kamehameha.
